Wow, I just got back to thinking about him. I think it's crazy... from Richard to minor leagues. I mean what happened? I know, it was a fluke season but still. What do you people think of him?

Two sports hernia surgeries to a player who was never a fantastic skater was practically a death sentence for his career. He's still got a good release, he just can't get to where he needs to be anymore.

I wouldn,t call it a fluke season, I'd call it the 'Joe Thornton' season. If he were playing along side Joe Thornton he would still be putting up 30+ goals per season. Plain and simple Thornton makes guys around him better (eg. Setoguchi). Thats what happened to him.
