OSHAWA, Ont. (CP) - John Tavares scored the winning goal in a shootout as the Oshawa Generals defeated the Brampton Batallion 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday.
Dale Mitchell scored twice and added an assist, while Brett Parnham added a goal and an assist for the Generals (16-15-0-3).
John Hughes, Matt Auffrey and Howie Martin each scored once for Brampton (13-20-1-3).
