John Tavares registers five points to lead Ottawa over Oshawa 8-2

OSHAWA, Ont. (CP) - John Tavares had a five-point afternoon as the Oshawa Generals thumped the visiting Ottawa 67's 8-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday.
With two goals, Tavares now has 26 on the year.
Cal Clutterbuck had four points including two goals, while Brett MacLean also scored a pair.
Kris Belan and Kyle Paige scored the other Oshawa (11-12-0-3) goals while defencemen Michael Del Zotto had three assists.
Logan Couture and Scott Cowie scored in a losing effort for the 67's (10-13-0-2).
