John Tavares is off to a great start for a rookie. 5 points. I thought he had a good first week. what about the rest of you?

I'm impressed with that entire line. Moulson, Tavares and Okposo look spectacular. Add in the addition of Robbie Schremp and the continued development of Josh Bailey, Blake Comeau and Sean Bergenheim.... There is a really talented and young nucleus on this team that should be good for years to come.
I'm from Oshawa and I have been watching John Tavares since he came into junior and played for Oshawa Generals and I really think he isn,t really going to be a superstar like a lot of people think and now in the NHL he better keep his head up thats all I'm going to sayyou can't have a good team without competent ownership and management. I don't believe that the isles have this and as much as I think Tavares is going to be a great player for them, it will likely be more of the same until the isles change ownership
he's not as smart and calm on the ice as Backstrom was when he was a rookie. And not to mention, Backstrom's rookie year he had Ovechkin to pass to for about the last 2/3's of the seasonNicklas Backstrom got 60+ points in his rookie year. Why not him?
I know this is off topic but since you said you live in Oshawa I had to ask. How's John Padulo playing this year. I went to high school with him the year before he left for OshawaI'm from Oshawa and I have been watching John Tavares since he came into junior and played for Oshawa Generals and I really think he isn,t really going to be a superstar like a lot of people think and now in the NHL he better keep his head up thats all I'm going to say

John Padulo in 32 games has 5 goals and 8 assists for 13 points and thats up till Dec.30th as they go to Kingston and play Doug Gilmours team and last season he only had 8 points thats okay he is a good kid!I know this is off topic but since you said you live in Oshawa I had to ask. just by watching them, Backstrom never rushed passes or forced anything. Tavares still plays like a kid at times. He makes bad decisions that are typical for an 18 year old. And again, when you skate on a line with Ovechkin for about 50 games, your gonna get points. How do u know?
That's good to hear, and he was a pretty good student, nothing amazing, but I'm pretty sure he was on honor roll.John Padulo in 32 games has 5 goals and 8 assists for 13 points and thats up till Dec.30th as they go to Kingston and play Doug Gilmours team and last season he only had 8 points thats okay he is a good kid!
was John Padulo smart in school? Oshawa Generals and the OHL are very strict on players getting high marks!
