SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. (CP) - Dustin Jeffrey had the lone goal of the shootout as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds downed the Sarnia Sting 2-1 in Wednesday's lone Ontario Hockey League game.

After Greyhounds netminder Kyle Gajewski stopped three Sting shooters, Jeffrey beat Sarnia goalie Sebastian Dahm to give Sault Ste. Marie (10-11-0-2) the victory. Michael Quesnele scored in regulation for the Greyhounds 53 seconds into the second period. Steven Stamkos replied 36 seconds later to provide the only goal for Sarnia (13-6-0-2).
