TORONTO (CP) - Jason Cassidy's power-play goal at 7:03 in the third period stood as the winner as the Toronto-St. Michael's Majors edged the Sudbury Wolves 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.
The Majors jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on power play goals from Matt McCready and Matt Piva.
Leading 3-0 midway through the third, the Majors (11-11-0-0) surrendered a power-play goal to Nick Foligno. Only four minutes later, Kevin Baker scored shorthanded on a five on three to bring Sudbury (11-9-1-1) within one.
