I doubt that's true. Atlanta has taken a huge step forward this year. If they were to actually offer up a package like that it would most certainly benefit both teams. Iginla is a class guy and so long as he believed that the trade helped Calgary and put him on a playoff contending team why would he say no?Iggy wouldn't wave his NTC for that team.

And you would be wrong, Kipper might be a possible move at the end of this season but Iggy will stay till he retires.I know this is an old thread, but some new shizz has come to light. I feel Iggy is has definitely become poison in the dressing room.
