Canadiens vs. Kings All time Record

The Los Angeles Kings arrived in the NHL as part of the league’s first wave of expansion in 1967. Success has been hard to come by for Kings over the years, as attested to by their lone division title in 1990-91. In 24 postseason appearances, Los Angeles has only gotten past the first round 12 times.

The Canadiens and Kings first squared off in Los Angeles on November 19, 1967, with the Canadiens falling 4-2.

Montreal and Los Angeles, who has yet to capture a Stanley Cup, have met just once in the playoffs, in 1993. The Canadiens topped the Kings in five games in the Cup Finals, earning their 24th championship in franchise history.

Price starts vs. L.A. tomorrow

by Dave Stubbs

Carey Price starts in goal tomorrow against Los Angeles. Carbo says the lines he put on the ice today, as indicated below, were formed to "put a worker on every line." Read into that what you'd like.

As they were dressed for practice (centres listed first on each line below):

Lang-Sergei K-Kovalev-Bégin
Koivu-Pacioretty-D'Agostini
Lapierre-Kostopoulos-Higgins
Plekanec-Latendresse-Andrei K

Laraque is wearing non-contact grey. Dandenault skated a brisk workout.

Here's hoping for a better effort for 60 minutes... :dunno:
