KINGSTON, Ont. (CP) - Jamie McGinn registered a hat trick as the Ottawa 67's beat the Kingston Frontenacs 4-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.
Logan Couture added a goal for Ottawa (15-15-0-2), which got 37 saves from Brady Morrison.
Nathan Moon scored the lone goal for the Frontenacs (13-17-4-1).
Jason Guy stopped 21 shots in the loss.
The win vaulted the 67's one point ahead of Kingston, into a second-place tie with the Peterborough Petes in the East Division. Ottawa has won five games in a row.
