LIKE SO MANY PPL COMPARING gretzky and lemueix

and crossby and ovechkin

i thought of this who is better?

thornton or jagr

first of all i would say dont look at stats so much!!!!!

i would go with thornton

he has all-rounder ability like defense and offense.... u can put him any where . he is sustainable :cool:

I agree. Thornton is a better all around player and has the ability to make his teammates better.
Example: Cheechoo would have never won the scoring race if not for Thornton.

Thorton is an all around better player than Jagr will ever be. Thornton will play when hurt as well, unlike Jagr!!

I'd also have to say Joe Thornton.
He's a complete hockey player.

Jagr at his best, is just a great playmaker.

And even though Thornton wouldn't get as many points as Jagr in the regular season, when it comes to where it counts...Thornton is better.
He can carry a team on his shoulders, and make every single player on his line better on the ice...and his entire team better, off of it.

I'd have to take Thornton. He always complements the players around him well.
