As per the title, the Oilers did not present qualifying offers to J.F. Jacques or Zach Stortini. No more Crazy Train or Huggy Bear.

For Jacques, this was all brought on repeated back troubles due to injury. He had good AHL numbers, and that league is no joke. Other than that, he was given chance after chance, especially by Pat Quinn. Big guys who can skate will always get more kicks at the can.

Stortini fell out of favor with Tom Renney last year, and never dug himself out of that hole. There were worse options on the team, but Stortini didn't do himself a lot of favors either.
