(Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets will try to match a franchise record with their sixth straight victory this evening, as they visit the Phoenix Coyotes at Jobing.com Arena.

The Blue Jackets won their fifth in a row Tuesday evening with a triumph in Dallas. Fredrik Norrena made 25 saves to lead Columbus to the 3-1 win at American Airlines Center.

David Vyborny, Dan Fritsche and Jason Chimera scored for the Blue Jackets, and Anson Carter notched two assists in the winning effort.

The Blue Jackets improved to 6-3-0 since Ken Hitchcock took over for fired head coach Gerard Gallant late last month. Tuesday's win over the Stars was special for Hitchcock, who coached in Dallas from 1996-2002 and won the Stanley Cup with the club in 1999.

Columbus set the franchise mark for consecutive wins from March 24-April 3 of last season.
