(Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets will try to build on an exciting victory, as they welcome the Detroit Red Wings to Nationwide Arena this evening.

The Blue Jackets scored the final two goals of Tuesday's game against visiting Boston to win in overtime. David Vyborny scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner with 1:54 left in the extra session to lift Columbus to the 5-4 decision over the Bruins.

The Jackets tied the score, 4-4, with 22.9 seconds left in regulation, as Sergei Fedorov scored on the power play from his knees in the right circle to send the game into OT. Columbus then put it away when Vyborny broke free and backhanded a shot just over the netminder's glove side from in front of the crease.

Fedorov scored a pair of goals for the Blue Jackets, who have split their last four games. Jason Chimera also scored, and Fredrik Norrena blocked 22-of-26 shots.

Columbus, which is 8-8-2 at Nationwide this year, completes a brief two-game homestand tonight.
