(Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets try to halt a five-game slide tonight when they welcome the Nashville Predators to Nationwide Arena in the back end of a home-and-home.

The Preds have been a familiar foe for the Jackets in the past week, as this is the third meeting between the clubs since Wednesday.

On Saturday Nashville extended Columbus' losing streak with a 4-2 home win, as Jason Arnott scored a pair of power-play goals and Tomas Vokoun stopped 28 shots to anchor the winning effort.

J.P. Dumont and Shea Weber also tallied goals, and Steve Sullivan added two assists as the Predators scored four times in the second period. Nashville has won three of its last four games.

The Preds finished 3-for-10 on the power play in Saturday's meeting.

Nashville, which is tied with Detroit atop the Central Division standings, will visit Dallas on Wednesday.
