(Sports Network) - The two bottom teams in the Central Division meet this evening in Columbus, as the Blue Jackets welcome the St. Louis Blues to Nationwide Arena.

The Blues are currently last in the Central with 33 points, but are just three behind Columbus for the fourth spot.

St. Louis has dropped two of three games to start off 2007 and was handed a close loss in Nashville on Saturday. J.P. Dumont scored the game-winner late in the third period to lift the Predators past the Blues, 3-2.

Martin Rucinsky and Lee Stempniak posted goals for the Blues, who have dropped 13 straight against Nashville, including all five meetings this year.

Blues goaltender Manny Legace made 21 saves in defeat.

St. Louis, which is 5-10-4 as the visitor this season, is playing the middle portion of a three-game road trip tonight.

The Blue Jackets have also dropped two of their last three games and are coming off Saturday's 5-2 setback in San Jose. Ryane Clowe netted his first career hat trick to lead the Sharks to the win at HP Pavilion.
