Jackets and Predators begin home-and-home
(Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets will try again to earn their first victory under interim head coach Gary Agnew as they visit the Nashville Predators tonight at Gaylord Entertainment Center.
Tonight is the opener of a home-and-home series between these teams. The Blue Jackets will host the Preds on Monday at Nationwide Arena. Nashville beat the Blue Jackets in Columbus on Wednesday and has won two of three and six of the last meetings.
The Blue Jackets were in action Friday against visiting Colorado and lost, 3-0, to drop to 0-2-0 since Agnew took over for the fired Gerard Gallant.
Peter Budaj stopped 25 shots for his first shutout of the season, leading the Avalanche to the win over Columbus.
