(Sports Network) - The New York Islanders aim for their second straight victory tonight, when they visit the Boston Bruins at TD Banknorth Garden.

The Isles snapped a season-high six-game skid Tuesday night when they defeated the rival Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Viktor Kozlov's third-period tally was the game-winner as the Islanders bested the Blueshirts, 5-3.

Mike Sillinger scored twice, Sean Hill and Randy Robitaille registered two assists each, while Miroslav Satan picked up a goal and an assist for the Islanders.

Brendan Witt added his first goal of the season and first as an Islander, while Rick DiPietro made 28 saves in the win.

The Isles, who are 9-11-1 as the visitor this year, wrap up a four-game road trip tonight.

The Bruins will try to rebound from a setback on Tuesday, when they were handed a 5-2 loss in Ottawa. Daniel Alfredsson scored the go-ahead goal with under eight minutes remaining, and Ottawa struck five times in the final period on the way to the victory.

Marco Sturm and Paul Mara scored for Boston, while Tim Thomas made 31 saves in a losing effort.
