(Sports Network) - The New York Islanders will aim for their third consecutive victory tonight when they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning at the St. Pete Times Forum.

The Islanders have begun a five-game road trip with victories in Philadelphia and Dallas.

New York blanked the Stars, 3-0, at American Airlines Center on Wednesday night as Rick DiPietro stopped 35 shots. The shutout was the first of the season for DiPietro and the seventh of his career.

Mike York, Jason Blake and Trent Hunter all tallied goals for the Isles, who have won five of their last seven contests.

New York, which also has tests at Florida and Toronto on its swing, is 4-3-0 as the visiting club this season.

Meanwhile, the Lightning will try to rebound from Wednesday's loss against visiting Montreal. The Canadiens handed Tampa Bay a 3-1 setback behind a pair of power-play goals from Sheldon Souray.
