I would love to see Marty stay i mean he has been one of my favorite goalies since i have started watching hockey a while ago if it where my call I would let him stay because he had been with the organization for the longest time. Hopefully he will stay but what do you get if you shop him around?:bt:bt

There are no questions left. It's time for Marty Turco to go. He knows it, as do the Stars. We all do. This is not about whether it's time for Turco to retire. It's not. He's good enough to help a playoff team make a lengthy playoff run. It's just time for him to leave Dallas. With the benefit of hindsight, it's clear the Stars should have traded or released Turco once they decided not to extend his contract, especially with a new general manager and coach sending the franchise in a completely different direction.p

Well there is lot's of options for this guy. He can retire but he's like 35 so he might have so he might stay in the NHL for another couple seasons. A second reason is that he's been the Stars ultimate goal tender. It would be cool thought to see him get traded so the stars could possibly get another goal tender or maybe a skater?

the stars GM (I think its Nieundyk) said that Turco isn't returning nest season. I think that means that for a while probably until like the end of June or early of July they will listen to trade offers from teams (Unfortunately, I think the Flyers will be interested in Turco) and if they don't reach a deal with another team I think they will have to let him go.
