Across the hall in his new dressing-room stall, Anson Carter saw this coming.
When the Vancouver Canucks aligned Markus Naslund with Daniel and Henrik Sedin -- amid some angst that all the offensive eggs were now in one basket -- the twins' former right winger didn't raise an eyebrow Friday.
"I called that last year -- I said if I wasn't back, they'd have Nazzy with the twins because the team has such an investment in Danny and Hank," Carter said before the line rallied the Canucks to a 3-2 overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
"They really can't afford to have them fall off and I don't think they will. They're going to prove last year wasn't a fluke and that they're the real deal."
How prophetic.
