(Sports Network) - Beginning with Wednesday's game in Carolina, the New York Rangers have a small set of back-to-back road games. They'll also visit Pittsburgh on Saturday.

However, after that mini trip the Blueshirts will see Madison Square Garden quite often. They will then play eight of the next 10 in Manhattan, where they do need to work on their play. New York is only 3-4-1 at MSG, as opposed to a 7-3-0 mark on the road.

New York has won three of its last four games overall. On Tuesday, Jaromir Jagr scored two of New York's three goals in a 90-second span early in the third period, as the Blueshirts pulled out a 3-2 home win vs. New Jersey.

Brendan Shanahan completed the three-goal eruption for the Rangers, netting the game-winner with 16:25 remaining. It was Shanahan's 14th goal of the season.
