BRAMPTON, Ont. (CP) - Cody Hodgson scored two power-play goals, including the game winner at 15:53 in the third period, as the Brampton Battalion edged the Erie Otters 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.

After receiving a pass from Tomas Stryncl, Hodgson blasted a slapshot from the high slot, eluding Erie goaltender Ryan Ludzik. Justin Levac and Matt Auffrey also scored for Brampton (11-14-1-2). The Battalion have won four straight games, a season high.

Each of Erie's(6-19-0-2) three goals came courtesy of their special teams unit, with Patrick Lee and Josh Kidd striking on the man advantage, while Zack Torquato scored a short-handed goal. Bryan Pitton made 14 saves for the win, while Ludzik stopped 43 shots at the other end.
