In this thread we will talk about CBCs long running hockey night in canada tv show.lets hear from you. do you remmber watching the canadians from the montreal forum with danny gallivan and dick irvin,how about foster hewitt from maple leaf gardens. lets hear from you.i will be posting some classic HNIC photos here showing dave hodge,howie meeker,danny gallivan,dick irvin,brian mcfarlane and others.does anyone remmber ward cornell on hockey night in canada. lets hear from you.

Here is a great photo of HNICs long time host brian mcfarlane.in the photo is also pictured toronto maple leaf Bill Cowboy Flett.you can also see that flett is holding in his hand Peter Puck. home many of you remmber watching peter puck during the intermissions on the NBC game of the week back in the 1970s and HNIC in the late 1970s. We will be talking a little later about peter puck in a diffrent thread.

Here is a great photo of the former coach of the boston bruins and colorado rockies don cherry.don has been on HNIC since 1980 doing his popular coach,s corner on the first intermission on saturday nights on CBC.i look forward to every saturday to watch coachs corner. Take Us Home Blue.

I have a huge collection of books and photos. i also have a collection of over 400 detroit red wings programs from the 1960s and 1970s from olympia stadium.my goal is to have every detroit program from the olympia stadium in the 1960s and 1970s.i am only missing 100 programs from the olympia from the 1970s.i am also a big hockey night in canada fan i have watched the show from the 1960s to today.
