Ian Schultz scored on a break-away 1:04 into overtime as the Calgary Hitmen beat the Brandon Wheat Kings 4-3 Tuesday night in Game 3 of the Husky Eastern Conference Championship Series.
The Hitmen now lead the best-of-seven series 3-0.
Kris Foucault (2g 1a) scored twice for Calgary while Brett Sonne (1g 1a) added a single for the Hitmen.
The win extends Calgary's franchise record playoff winning streak to 11 games, 14 overall dating back to the regular season.
Calgary was outshot 9-1 early in the first period and trailed 2-0 before starting the comeback. Final shots were 32-27 Calgary.
