Dave Steckel led Hershey with a pair of goals and an assist as the Bears defeated the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins by a score of 4-1 at the Giant Center.
Chris Bourque and defenseman Jeff Schultz, who also posted a plus-3 rating, each scored a goal and added an assist as Hershey improved its record to 3-1-0-1 in the last five games.
Bears netminder Daren Machesney needed only 17 saves to earn his third win on the season and even his record to 3-3-1.
Kyle Brodziak netted the only goal on the night for the baby-Pens, who dropped their third straight road game.
