Returning from injury and making his first start since Dec. 20, Hershey netminder Frederic Cassivi did not miss a beat, stopping 37 of 38 shots to give the Bears a 2-1 win at Hartford.

Cassivi held the Wolf Pack scoreless through the second and third period, ending Hartford’s five-game winning streak in the process.

After falling behind 1-0 heading into the second period, Alexandre Giroux, who recently scored a pair of goals in the 2007 AHL All-Star Classic, put Hershey on the board, knotting the game at 1-1 entering the final frame.

Teammate and fellow all-star Tomas Fleischmann netted the game winner for the Bears, who got back into the win column after two consecutive losses.

Craig Weller scored the lone goal for Hartford in the loss.
