LOS ANGELES (AP) - Jan Hejda scored his first NHL goal 1:14 into overtime, lifting the Edmonton Oilers to a 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night.

Jarret Stoll had a power-play goal in regulation, and Dwayne Roloson made 34 saves for the Oilers in the only game on the league's schedule. It was Hejda's 14th game in the NHL.

He skated down the slot and steered in Ryan Smyth's centring pass that came from the right circle. Smyth has 10 points in seven games after missing 10 because of a broken right thumb.

Konstantin Pushkarev, the Kings' 21-year-old right wing, scored his first career goal in his third game.

He started the play that led to the tying goal when he bumped Edmonton defenceman Mathieu Roy off the puck in the left corner, then backtracked toward the Oilers' blue line. Pushkarev got a pass from Lubomir Visnovsky and took a long wrist shot through a screen that beat Roloson with 14:11 to play.
