MISSISSAUGA, Ont. (CP) - Right winger Matt Halischuk scored once and set up what proved to be the game-winner as the Kitchener Rangers extended their current winning streak to five games with a 4-3 victory over the Mississauga IceDogs Sunday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League.
Halischuk, acquired by the Rangers from Toronto in an off-season trade, scored his 15th goal of the season in the first period while Kitchener was killing a penalty. He then set up Kevin Henderson, who scored his seventh of the season to give the visitors a 4-1 lead in the third.
Jakub Kindl and Nick Spaling scored the other goals for the Rangers (8-6-0-2).
