(Sports Network) - The Montreal Canadiens suffered through a tremendous roller coaster ride between Friday and Saturday.

After knocking off the best team in the Eastern Conference, Buffalo, with under a second remaining in overtime, the Habs dropped a tilt to the conference's worst, Philadelphia, the following night.

On Friday, Sheldon Souray's goal with under a second to go in OT gave the Canadiens a shocking 2-1 victory over the Sabres at HSBC Arena. However on Saturday at home Montreal lost a 4-2 tilt to the visiting Flyers. Simon Gagne scored twice and added an assist to lift Philly.

Alex Kovalev picked up a goal and an assist in the loss, and Saku Koivu also found the net. Goaltender David Aebischer made 22 saves for the Canadiens, who had a three-game winning streak ended.

Beat the best team in the east and lose to the...well not so good team! They played good for the first 5 mins and they stop. This is getting annoying. Why was David abash.. playing anyway? it's not like he has played good in the past to deserve to play lastnight...
