ST. LOUIS (AP) - Bill Guerin scored 1:09 into overtime to lift the St. Louis Blues to a 2-1 victory over the Detroit on Friday night.

Guerin, coming off an appearance at the all-star game earlier in the week, scored his team-leading 21st goal as he gathered a rebound off the pads of Detroit goalie Chris Osgood and slapped it into the goal from about five feet away.

The teams traded goals less than two minutes apart midway through the second period.

A huge win for the Blues.

Guerin's goal in Overtime now has them getting 17 out of a possibly 20 Points. An unbelieveable turnaround for the team, and now they're within striking distance of the playoffs and play the Preds tonight. (6 Points away)
