SAINT JOHN, Jan 3, 2007 - Fans will be the victors this coming Sunday afternoon when the Sea Dogs entertain the St. John's Fog Devils at Harbour Station.

The Jan. 7 game, which begins at 4 o'clock, has been designated "Guaranteed Win Day".

If the Sea Dogs lose to the Fog Devils, fans (including season ticket holders) will be able to exchange Sunday's ticket stub for a free ticket to any remaining regular season Sea Dogs home game. The stub-for-ticket offer is subject to availability. Certain restrictions also apply.

"It's a win-win for the fans," said David Turk, executive director of the Sea Dogs. "We are looking to win this crucial game against St. John's and ultimately reach the playoffs. However, if we lose the contest, those who attend the game will 'win' by receiving a free ticket voucher for a future game. Fans can't lose no matter the game's outcome."

Turk said the hockey club appreciates the strong support the fans have given the second-year Sea Dogs so far this season. "We knew there would be trying times as an expansion franchise in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. We want to thank everyone for their support and patience as we build for the future."

The Sea Dogs are on the road this week, visiting the Lewiston MAINEiacs tonight (Jan. 3) and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Friday (Jan. 5). They then return to action at Harbour Station on Sunday.
