Stefan Liv stopped all 28 shots he faced from the Rivermen as Grand Rapids shut out Peoria by a score of 3-0 at Van Andel Arena, marking the third straight game the Griffins have shut out opponents at home.

Liv has won his last five starts and has posted two shutouts in that span for the Griffins, who are the league’s hottest team, winning six straight games.

Matt Ellis had a pair of goals and Darryl Bootland also tallied for Grand Rapids, who improved its record to 19-15-4-2 and 44 points, three points behind second place Manitoba and five points shy of North Division leading Rochester.
