Minus - Corey Perry
It looked like the perfect scenario for the Ducks. With no score in the game, Corey Perry jumped out of the box and was sprung on a breakaway. It should have been a gift, and it might have been, if the normally surefooted Perry hadn't tripped over the faceoff circle. Perry gets a minus for one of life's most embarrassing moments.
Plus - Zdeno Chara
A plus to the NHL's biggest player. Zdeno Chara doesn't exactly have the softest hands, so he's never been asked to take part in a shootout. But when the Bruins and Islanders were deadlocked and down to the 18th shooter, Chara got the nod, and he delivered. Chara faked a shot and found the five-hole, lifting the Bruins to a 4-3 victory.
Minus - Thoresons
Saturday was supposed to be a big night for the Thoreson family. They flew over 6,500 kilometres from Norway to Edmonton to see Patrick play for the Oilers. Just one problem, he was in the minors. But how's this for going from a minus to a plus? Late Monday afternoon, the Oilers announced they've called Thoreson back up. Let's hope they haven't gone home.
