Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 24 shots to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild at the Honda Center.

Dustin Penner, Corey Perry and Scott Niedermayer each had a goal for the Ducks, who bounced back from their first regulation loss of the season on Friday night -- a 3-0 setback to Calgary.

Ryan Getzlaf had two assists for Anaheim, which is 2-0-1 against Minnesota this season.

Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored both goals and Niklas Backstrom stopped 35 shots for the Wild, who have dropped three of their last four.

The Ducks peppered Backstrom with 13 shots in the first period, but he turned all of them aside. Minnesota had eight shots in the opening frame.

Anaheim scored a pair of goals in the second to assume a 2-0 lead.

Penner had the puck at the left side of the net and from a sharp angle threw a shot that squeezed between the pads of Backstrom just 1:07 in.

Shane O'Brien had the puck at the right point and threw a shot on net that Backstrom slowed down. The puck, though, got behind him and Perry poked it in for his fifth goal of the year at the 5:41 mark.

The Wild cut their deficit in half thanks to a nice individual effort by Bouchard. He received the puck from Brian Rolston deep in the zone and flicked a backhander on net from the low right circle that beat Giguere over the glove a little over two minutes after the Perry goal.
