Canada's Ryan Getzlaf is getting closer to returning to the Anaheim Ducks' lineup.

The 24-year old has been sidelined with an ankle sprain, however he skated for 15 minutes on Thursday and took part in Ducks' practice on Friday, skating on a line with Olympic teammate Corey Perry and Matt Beleskey.

I think if he's not healed perfectly by Sunday that he might be replaced as many people agree that having Carter at 100% is far better then having Getzlaf at 80%. The rule is that after the first game of the tournament you are not allowed to change the players for your countrys roster. Do you think team team Canada should take that gamble that may cause them a man down. If Getzlaf does manage to play but agitated his ankle during the tournament that may injure him for his NHL season with the Ducks. Something to ponder on about.
