For people who would like to talk about sports other than Hockey during the Olympics I thought I'd put this up

Good idea, the whole of the Winter Olympics is fun.

I'm watching the Ski Jumping now, fascinates me how they can actually stay basically horizontal on their jumps, and stay on their feet. There's a load of mini-trees down the middle of the slope.



Am I the only one who prays for a minor crash? It's pretty funny.

You mean the Olympics isn't just one giant hockey tournament and there are other events? lol.

I am not really a fan of any of the other sports but its pretty cool to see the skiers going mach 5 down the hill.

Sven Kramer (NED) just set a new Olympic Record in the 5000 for speed skating, something that was speculated wouldn't happen at this Olympics due to it being at sea level.

Canada plays on Tuesday for Mens Olympic hockey team.

The Canadian women are playing Slovakia right now. Already 4-0 and its still only the first period.

USA is in first right now with 4 medals. 1 gold 1 silver 2 bronze.

And Idk if anyone else caught the speed skating disaster for Korea. They had all the medal spots sealed up but the guys in 2nd and 3rd crashed into each other. So they got gold, but Ohno slipped into 2nd to win Silver, if you ask me he didn't have a very good day though

There must be only a handful of Winter Olympic Sports that I actually enjoy.

Biathlon is one of these. I much pretty the more speed involving ones however.

As of now the U.S.A is in first with 6 medals. Germany is in 2nd with 4

Do the 'athletes' in curling chase after the rock like they do in lawn bowling? I've never understood that. You've already thrown it, there's nothing you can do!
