With the injury to Danny Cleary, Jan Mursak makes his NHL debut tonight, taking the roster spot that has opened up.

Babcock was not at practice today. No word on if the line combinations are correct, nor are there any notable quotes from him about the lineup changes.

I hope that Mursak has a solid game. I thought he should have been on this team since the start of the season, but it's too bad that it came down to key injuries for him to get in the lineup. That line is going to be speedy though.

If Hudler struggles early in this game, I'd like to see Mursak move up on a line with Filppula and Bertuzzi. He's got the ability to put the puck in the net, and his speed alongside those two could definitely open up things.

Good for Osgood joining the 400 win club.

How did Kindl and Mursak play?

They looked fine. Mursak beat an Avalanche to a puck that bounced over the defenseman's stick at the point. Of course, they only got like 7 minutes of ice time because the referees were calling almost everything, so we spent quite a bit of time in special teams situations.
