The night after what seemed like their AHL squad lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Red Wings are back in action. This time at home and facing the Pittsburgh Penguins. Todd Bertuzzi (sore back), Derek Meech (concussion) and Patrick Eaves (sprained ankle) will both sit the game out, freeing up spots for Mattias Ritola and Jan Mursak. According to Pittsburgh sources, Sidney Crosby (hip) and Brooks Orpik (groin) will both sit the game out for the Penguins.

Red Wings Line Up (MLive)

Pavel Datsyuk-Henrik Zetterberg-Tomas Holmstrom
Johan Franzen-Valtteri Filppula-Mattias Ritola
Jiri Hudler-Mike Modano-Dan Cleary
Drew Miller-Darren Helm-Jan Mursak

Nicklas Lidstrom-Niklas Kronwall
Brad Stuart-Brian Rafalski
Jonathan Ericsson-Ruslan Salei

Chris Osgood
Jimmy Howard

Jiri Hudler was the Red Wings' big off-season acquisition (or return) and a vital part of the third line.
After he broke through against the Leafs and put up points on Friday night, expect him to continue his play.

Hudler is a better player than people think. I missed him way more last season than I thought I was going to miss him. To me the kid is magic. We're thrilled to have him back.
