(Sports Network) - The Chicago Blackhawks will try to continue their recent winning ways this evening, when they visit the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place.

The Oilers have struggled so far in February, dropping two of three games to begin the month.

Edmonton's latest setback came Tuesday against the visiting Canucks. Daniel Sedin had a hat trick and dished out two assists, while his brother Henrik had four assists to lead Vancouver over the Oilers, 5-2, at Rexall Place.

Jan Hejda had two assists for Edmonton, while Shawn Horcoff and Zack Stortini posted the goals.

Oilers center Jarret Stoll has missed the last two games with a concussion and is not expected to play in tonight's tilt. Stoll sustained two concussions over a two-week period, suffering the first one on January 18 against Anaheim and getting the other on February 1 in Vancouver. The centerman is Edmonton's fourth-leading scorer with 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists)

Tonight marks the middle segment of a three-game homestand for the Oilers, who are 16-11-2 as the host this year.

Meanwhile, the Blackhawks have won back-to-back tests and can match their season-high three-game winning streak with another victory this evening. Chicago won for the fourth time in five games with a 3-0 shutout in Vancouver on Wednesday night.

EDMONTON (CP) - Shawn Horcoff had a goal and an assist as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 on Friday night.

The Oilers (27-24-4) have now won four of their last six and moved ahead of Colorado for ninth in the Western Conference, six points out of a playoff spot. Chicago (21-27-7) had a two game winning streak snapped. The Blackhawks had won four of their last five games after losing 10 in a row.

Raffi Torres scored the other Oiler goal while Dwayne Roloson stopped 32 shots to earn the win. Martin Havlat had the lone reply for Chicago.

The Oilers started off the scoring just 4:29 into the opening frame as Marc-Andre Bergeron threaded a cross-ice pass to Torres, who put a bullet past Chicago starter Nikolai Khabibulin from the top of the circle.

On the other side of the ice Roloson had a solid first period, stopping 14 Chicago shots.

Chicago had the better chances in the listless second period but were unable to get one of their 11 shots past Roloson. The game ground down to such a standstill that a portion of the sold out crowd of 16,839 started chanting ``Let's go anybody.''
