Sports Ticker

BUFFALO, New York (Ticker) -- The Buffalo Sabres are one of the best clubs in the National Hockey League, and the Montreal Canadiens can testify to that fact.

The Sabres are 3-0-1 against the Canadiens this season, and go for their fourth win over Montreal tonight.

Buffalo had slowed a little since starting 20-3-2, going 4-3-0 since. The Sabres come off a 3-1 home loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday in which Jochen Hecht scored their only goal.

Oh well, good win. Huge win really, because the 2 points they made up on Buffalo is huge right now.
