Key Player(s) of the Game:

Datsyuk and Zetterberg have been fantastic in recent games, and will be counted upon to continue their solid play.

Jiri Hudler is back in the lineup tonight, looking to rebound from a disappointing season so far.

At times they’ve (Zetterberg and Datsyuk) been real dominant and other times they’ve been OK. They haven’t seemed to get it going on the power play together for whatever reason. I don’t know the answer to that, but they’re real good players, they like playing together. We count on those guys each and every night.
His first segment didn’t go the way he wanted. Let’s have a great second segment. We need scoring. Every team needs scoring to win. Hudler’s a great player, knows how to play the game. He’s confident in himself, I’m confident in him. Throw (the first segment) out, come back hard. Just make sure you’re doing everything off ice and everything on ice (to prepare). Do the work and make sure you’re the kind of player we all know you are.

Not much to say really. I guess you gotta get a game like this out of your system every once in a while. Quick was outstanding, though.

The third was brutal, but without Quick in net, that game would have likely been over in the first two periods. Seriously, how often does a team have 38 shots (with a fair amount of them being decent chances) through two periods and come out with nothing to show for it? Props to Quick because he played a hell of a game and despite the score, he stole one for the Kings.

Given his rubber legs afterwards, it looked like Matt Greene might have a concussion from that counter-hit from Kronwall. Hopefully he'll be alright, I have so much respect for him since he blocked a shot with his face and finished his shift. Hated seeing him look like that when he was out there.

At least he and Kings fans aren't complaining like Selanne and Ducks fans did after a virtually identical hit. Dear NHL players, if Kronwall has the puck and is coming into your zone from the blueline, don't go to hit him and leave yourself completely exposed because he will hit you instead.
