Key Player of the Game

Zetterberg and Datsyuk will begin this game centering different lines and be counted upon (with Filppula) to give the Red Wings three dangerous lines against the Canadiens tonight.

I split Zetterberg and Datsyuk up last night because they were no good. We got better after. Now, is that because they got engaged? Is it because they were split up? I don't know the answer to that. I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow. I haven't worked it out yet. I didn't necessarily love my lines at practice today. I thought Jiri looked good on the back end but I'm not planning on playing him on defense.

I only caught the last 10 minutes of the game, and my word was the defense awful. The Canadiens probably deserved to win the game, based on that small segment. Howard came up big a couple times, good to see.
