(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Flyers continue their quest to get things on the right track tonight when they host the Washington Capitals at the Wachovia Center.

Under new head coach John Stevens the Flyers have gone 2-2-0, after losing the final five games under former boss Ken Hitchcock. On Thursday they dropped a 5-2 tilt to visiting Tampa Bay, as Martin St. Louis scored two goals and added an assist to lift the Lightning.

R.J. Umberger and Randy Jones each tallied goals and Antero Niittymaki made 24 saves for the Flyers.

Philly pulled within 3-2 in the third period, but two penalties called on Peter Forsberg and his ensuing outburst helped the Lightning hold off the comeback. Forsberg was called for a hooking penalty shortly after the Flyers made it a one-goal match. After serving the penalty, he was called for a high- stick that he disagreed with and was charged with a two-minute unsportsmanlike conduct for arguing that call and then another 10-minute misconduct for smacking his stick as he entered the penalty box.

Tampa sealed the match with two empty-netters.

The Flyers will visit Toronto on Monday.
