Val-d'Or forward Brad Marchand had a goal and two assists Friday, extending his points streak to 11 games.

Marchand, who has racked up 21 points since Oct. 20, led the Foreurs along with Martin Thibeault, who scored 2:11 into overtime, to a 6-5 victory over the Gatineau Olympiques in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

The Halifax native is tenth in the league in points.

At Gatineau, Que., Mathieu Roy, Marc-Andre Cote, Henrick Lavoie and Julius Sinkovic added one each for the Foreurs (13-7-2-1).

Claude Giroux, who is ranked first in scoring, replied with a hat trick while Brett Morrison scored twice for Gatineau (14-5-1-2).

Mooseheads 4, Sagueneens 2

At Halifax, Andrew Bodnarchuk scored the winner at 11:46 of the third period as the Mooseheads downed Chicoutimi.

Jiri Suchy, Justin Saulnier and James Pouliot added goals for Halifax (12-8-1-1).

David Desharnais countered with both goals for the Sagueneens (7-13-4-1).

Maineiacs 5, Rocket 4

At Charlottetown, David Perron and Eric Castonguay both scored twice as Lewiston squeaked by the Rocket.

Marc-Andre Cliche also had one for the Maineiacs (14-5-0-2).

Pascal Boutin, Pierre-Luc Lessard, Chris Doyle and David Laliberte scored for P.E.I. (10-6-0-3).

Tigres 3, Cataractes 1

At Victoriaville, Que., Benoit Doucet had a goal and an assist to lead the Tigres over Shawinigan.

Dave Nolin and Keven Guerette-Charland added goals for Victoriaville (12-9-0-0).

Pierre-Alexandre Vandal scored the lone goal for the Cataractes (13-6-1-3).

Remparts 7, Oceanic 3

At Rimouski, Que., Felix Petit racked up a goal and four assists as Quebec downed the Oceanic.

Ruslan Bashkirov had two for the Remparts (14-10-0-0), while Kenzie Sheppard, Andrew Andricopoulos, Marc-Olivier Vallerand and Kelsey Tessier added one each.

Olivier Fortier, Dave Plante and Patrice Cormier put away goals for Rimouski (4-15-3-1).

Screaming Eagles 7, Drakkar 2

At Sydney, N.S., Dean Ouellet scored a hat trick to lead the Screaming Eagles over Baie-Comeau.

Jean-Claude Sawyer, Cam Fergus, Francois Gauthier and James Sheppard also scored for Cape Breton (15-8-1-0).

Alexandre Picard-Hooper and Keven Dupont replied for the Drakkar (13-6-1-2).
