Drakkar 4, Olympiques 2

Francois Bouchard is the most helpful guy in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Bouchard registered two helpers Friday to take the top spot in assists as the Baie-Comeau Drakkar beat the Gatineau Olympiques 4-2. Bouchard now has a total of 54 assists this season, two ahead of Acadie-Bathurst's Mathieu Perreault. The two were tied at 52 going into Friday's game.

At Baie-Comeau, Que., Alexandre Picard-Hooper scored twice for the Drakkar (22-13-1-6), who moved into the second spot in the West Division.

Mathieu Tousignant and Jean-Philippe Paquet added a goal apiece.

Michael Stinziani put away the lone goal for Gatineau (23-15-2-2).

Mooseheads 6, Screaming Eagles 4

At Halifax, Ryan Hillier had two goals, including the winner at 13:34 in the third period, as the Mooseheads downed Cape Breton.

Peter-James Corsi, Colby Pridham, Bryce Swan, Andrew Bodnarchuk and Garrett Peters also scored for Halifax (19-18-3-2).

James Sheppard put away two goals for the Screaming Eagles (27-13-2-0), while Nick MacNeil and Paul Alexander McIlveen added one each.

Wildcats 4, Fog Devils 3

At Moncton, N.B., Murdock MacLellan scored twice in the second period as the Wildcats edged St. John's.

Matt Marquardt and Marc-Andre Labelle added a goal each for Moncton (28-14-0-1).

Luke Gallant, Wesley Welcher and Matt Fillier had goals for the Fog Devils (17-21-2-1).

Titan 5, Sea Dogs 4

At Bathurst, N.B., Thomas Beauregard racked up a goal and two assists as the Titan squeaked past Saint John.

Dany Masse, Mathieu Perreault, Samuel Morneau and Mathieu Carle also scored for Acadie-Bathurst (24-15-1-2).

Jonathan Laberge had two goals for the Sea Dogs (10-28-1-1), while Francois Gauthier and David MacDonald had one.

Maineiacs 6, Oceanic 2

At Lewiston, Maine, Marc-Andre Daneau registered a hat trick as the Maineiacs trounced Rimouski.

Pierre-Luc Faubert, Jakub Bundil and Stefano Giliati added a goal each for Lewiston (30-8-0-3).

Olivier Fortier scored both goals for the Oceanic (8-26-6-1).

Voltigeurs 3, Foreurs 2 (SO)

At Val-d'Or, Que., Scott Howes scored the shootout winner as Drummondville defeated the Foreurs.

Scott Howes also put away a goal in regulation for the Voltigeurs (20-19-0-3), along with Alexandre Demers.

Martin Thibeault and Mathieu Roy scored for Val-d'Or (25-13-2-2).

Cataractes 7, Sagueneens 5

At Shawinigan, Que., Danick Bouchard led the Cataractes with a goal and three assists in a victory over Chicoutimi.

Vincent Lavigueur, Sean Smyth, Linden Bahm, Simon Lacroix and Pierre-Alexandre Vandal added a goal apiece for Shawinigan (17-19-2-3).

Francis Verreault-Paul and Nicolas Blanchard both scored twice for the Sagueneens (19-20-4-1), while Kirill Tulupov had one goal.
