Titan 6, Wildcats 3

Mathieu Carle became the top-scoring defenceman in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Friday.

Carle racked up two goals and two assists as the Acadie-Bathurst Titan downed the Moncton Wildcats 6-3. The Gatineau, Que., native has 11 goals and 36 assists this season.

At Moncton, N.B., Mathieu Perreault, Dany Masse, Thomas Beauregard and Kevin Gadoury added a goal each for the Titan (22-12-1-1).

Nick Emmanuele, Phil Mangan and Jason Lepage replied for Moncton (23-13-0-1).

Maineiacs 4, Foreurs 2

At Val-d'Or, Que., Pierre-Luc Faubert had two goals as Lewiston downed the Foreurs.

Danick Hudon-Paquette and Stefan Chaput also scored for the league-leading Maineiacs (25-7-0-3).

Alexandre Leduc and Peter-James Corsi put away goals for Val-d'Or (22-11-2-1).

Sagueneens 7, Remparts 4

At Quebec City, David Desharnais scored four times and added an assist as Chicoutimi defeated Quebec.

Joel Champagne, Darick Ste-Marie and Francis Verreault-Paul added goals for Chicoutimi (16-17-4-1) which scored four goals in the third period.

The Sagueneens trailed 4-3 after the second period.

Brent Aubin, Kenzie Sheppard, Maxime Sauve and Andrew Andricopoulos had goals for the Remparts (21-16-0-1).

Rocket 4, Drakkar 3

At Baie-Comeau, Que., David Laliberte scored three goals, including the winner, as P.E.I. edged the Drakkar.

Guillaume Doucet added a goal for the Rocket (16-14-1-4).

Olivier Donais had two goals for Baie-Comeau (19-12-1-4), while Jean-Sebastien Adam had one.

Voltigeurs 4, Cataractes 2

At Shawinigan, Que., Steven Cacciotti had two goals as Drummondville beat the Cataractes.

Gaby Roch and Tomas Zohorna also scored for the Voltigeurs (15-18-0-3).

Sean Smyth and Pierre-Alexandre Vandal replied for Shawinigan (15-15-2-3).

Fog Devils 4, Olympiques 3 (OT)

At Gatineau, Que., Ryan Graham scored the overtime winner as St. John's beat the Olympiques.

Luke Gallant, Tim Spencer and Mario Kempe added a goal each for the Fog Devils (14-20-1-1).

Jean-Philip Chabot, Matthew Pistilli and Martin Frechette scored for Gatineau (21-12-2-2).

Huskies 5, Tigres 4 (OT)

At Victoriaville, Que., Tyler Whitehead put away the winner at 4:11 in overtime as Rouyn-Noranda squeaked by the Tigres.

Jeff Desjardins, Jean-Sebastien Berube, Michael Dubuc and Guillaume Mailloux also scored for the Huskies (20-13-2-3).

Benoit Doucet, Jan Kolarik, Dave Nolin and Adam Ross replied for Victoriaville (19-15-1-0).
