Titan forward Thomas Beauregard became the first player to score 40 goals this Quebec Major Junior League season on Friday.
Beauregard had two goals and three assists as Acadie-Bathurst fell 6-5 in a shootout to the Quebec Remparts. The Montreal native moved into second place on the points board. He now has 40 goals and 27 assists this year.
At Bathurst, N.B., Roman Bashkirov scored the shootout winner for the Remparts (19-14-0-1), while Angelo Esposito had two goals in regulation. Ruslan Bashkirov also put away two for Quebec, while Brent Aubin added one.
Mathieu Perreault replied with two goals for the Titan (19-12-1-1), while Mathieu Carle had one goal.
Fog Devils 4, Mooseheads 3 (OT)
At St. John's, N.L., Matt Fillier scored the overtime winner as the Fog Devils edged Halifax.
Nick Layton, Nicolas Bachand and Olivier Guilbault added goals for St. John's (11-19-1-1).
Bryce Swan had two goals for the Mooseheads (15-14-3-1), while Nick Layton added one.
Screaming Eagles 7, Rocket 4
At Sydney, N.S., James Sheppard nabbed a hat trick as the Screaming Eagles beat P.E.I.
Cam Fergus put away two goals in just under two minutes for Cape Breton (21-11-1-0), while Dean Ouellet and Bradley Gallant had one goal each.
Matthew Lachaine, Chris Doyle, Marc-Andre Gragnani and Jordon Southorn replied for the Rocket (15-12-1-4).
Wildcats 6, Sea Dogs 3
At Moncton, N.B, Phil Mangan and Jerome Samson both scored twice as the Wildcats downed Saint John.
Chris Morehouse and Matt Eagles added one each for Moncton (22-12-0-1).
Christopher DiDomenico, Brett Gallant and Payton Liske had goals for the Sea Dogs (10-19-1-1).

At Chicoutimi, Que., Juraj Mikus had a goal and two assists as the Sagueneens trounced Rouyn-Noranada.
David Desharnais, Maxime Provencher, Antoine Roussel, Tommy Tremblay and Joel Champagne added one goal each for Chicoutimi (13-17-4-1).
Michael Dubuc scored the lone goal for the Huskies (18-12-2-3).

At Baie-Comeau, Que., Charles-Antoine Messier scored a hat trick as the Drakkar defeated Victoriaville.
Adam Bourque-Leblanc and Pierre-Cedrick Labrie had one goal each for Baie-Comeau (18-10-1-4).
Toby Lafrance put away all three of the Tigres' (18-15-0-0) goals.

At Val-d'Or, Que., Mathieu Roy scored the overtime winner as the Foreurs squeaked by Shawinigan.
Henrick Lavoie and Julius Sinkovic had goals in regulation for Val-d'Or (21-10-2-1).
Steve Bellefleur and Danick Bouchard replied for the Cataractes (15-14-2-3).

At Gatineau, Que., Darryl Smith grabbed a hat trick as the Olympiques routed Drummondville.
