Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - R.J. Umberger scored twice late in the third period, as the Philadelphia Flyers netted three goals in a span of 3:10 to erase a two-goal deficit and pull out a 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center.

Simon Gagne also contributed to the third-period comeback with his 10th goal of the year for Philadelphia, which has won two straight. Antero Niittymaki made 23 saves in net.

Alexander Frolov had two goals and Brian Willsie also lit the lamp for the Kings, who have dropped three of their last four. Dan Cloutier had 26 stops in defeat.

Gagne started the comeback with just under seven minutes to play, as he found plenty of ice in front after taking a feed from Mike Knuble and wristed a shot past Cloutier stick side.

Umberger tied the game 40 seconds later. Following a faceoff in the L.A. zone, Umberger gained possession and released a shot that made it through traffic in front before beating a screened Cloutier.

Philly broke off on a rush a couple minutes later, with Mike Richards' centering feed deflecting off a defender before gliding in between the circles. Umberger took over from there, muscling a backhander into the cage to put the Flyers in front.
