Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Flyers center Peter Forsberg, who has missed the last two games due to a mild right ankle sprain, was fitted with an orthotic brace, the club announced on Tuesday.

"I spoke with Peter today and yesterday he was fitted with an orthotic brace," said Flyers athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach Jim McCrossin. "Peter skated and he said it actually felt very good. Some minor adjustments had to be made and they were made overnight. Peter was going back out to skate again today and we decided we are going to touch base when I get into Anaheim."

The Flyers are on a three-game West Coast road trip and will play in Anaheim on Wednesday.
