(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Flyers will try to avoid a fifth consecutive setback tonight, when they return home to face the Montreal Canadiens at the Wachovia Center.

The Flyers went 3-5-0 on their season-long eight-game road trip and dropped the last four contests on the swing.

On Tuesday, Philadelphia ended the trek by getting routed by the Washington Capitals, 6-2. Alexander Ovechkin scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Caps.

Kyle Calder scored two goals in the third period for the Flyers, who are last in the NHL with just 26 points.

Robert Esche got the start between the pipes for Philadelphia and allowed six goals on 31 shots.

Philadelphia captain Peter Forsberg missed his fourth straight game with a right groin injury. He is expected to be back for tonight's contest.

The Flyers, who are just 3-11-4 in Philly this year, begin a three-game homestand tonight.

Montreal, meanwhile, starts a three-game road trip tonight after beating visiting Atlanta on Tuesday. Michael Ryder scored two goals and added an assist to give the Habs the 4-2 victory over the Thrashers.
